HOW DOES INVISALIGN WORK?

The Invisalign System uses high-tech 3-D computer graphics technology with 100-year-old orthodontic science. Invisalign aligners are designed to move your teeth to their final position prescribed by your orthodontist. Each aligner is calibrated and created to fit your specific mouth at each stage of treatment. Each aligner is worn for about two weeks and only taken out to eat, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next set, your teeth will begin to move gradually.

WHAT DOES INVISALIGN TEEN TREAT?

HOW DOES INVISALIGN TEEN WORK?

•Wear each set of aligners for about two weeks before switching them out for your new set and gradually your teeth will move each week.

 

•Take your aligners out while eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing and replace them as soon as you are finished.

 

•Visit with Dr. Boyd every 6-10 weeks so we can check on your progress and make sure things are going as planned.

 

•Our patients are usually in treatment for about 6-15 months and use between 18-30 aligners.
