Dr. Lee Boyd
Dr. Boyd has been setting the highest standards in dentistry since July 1996. Dr. Boyd’s education includes attending Allen Elementary School, graduating from Prestonsburg High School in 1987 and attending the University of Kentucky for his undergraduate degree. He then obtained his dental degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 1994. After dental school he completed 2 years of additional training in pediatric dentistry at Louisiana State University in 1996.
Dr. Boyd is a board certified Pediatric Dentist. He also stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry. The state of Kentucky requires 15 hours of continuing education classes and Dr. Boyd routinely averages between 40 and 60 hours per year.
He has also been published in the Journal for Dental Research and in involved with several professional organizations including:

In addition to running his own dental practice, Dr. Boyd also works on the dental staff at Highlands Regional Medical Center.
Away from the office Dr. Boyd is married with 2 children, Colin and Molly. He is the pastor of Destination Community Church and volunteers with East Kentucky Missions, providing dental treatment to people in Haiti, Peru and Trinidad. Dr. Boyd also enjoys University of Kentucky sports, scuba diving and spending time with his family.
